Not Your Average Sloppy Joe's
Bringing back a childhood favorite-- I completely forgot how downright DELICIOUS these are!

- 1/2 white onion
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1/3 cup Sir Kensington's classic ketchup
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1-2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- 3-4 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 6-oz can tomato paste
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp pink salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
In a large sauce pan or skillet, sauté ground beef in oil about 3-5 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks. Add in onion, bell pepper and mushroom for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and let cook for 10-12 minutes on low heat, stirring every few minutes.
Once done, toast the buns and add sloppy joe mixture to each bun.
