Ingredients
Burgers
1lborganic ground chicken or turkey
1/4cupred onion, diced
1-2stalksgreen onion, diced
2tbspfresh oregano, chopped
1tbspgarlic, chopped(2 cloves)
1/4cupsun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1/2cuppacked spinach, finely chopped
1/2tspsea salt
ground pepper
2tbspavocado oil
Fries
3-5yellow potatoes, cut into fries
3tbspavocado oil
1/2tspsea salt
1/4tsp dried oregano
Toppings (optional)
burger buns
butter lettuce
tzatziki(I use Kite Hill Foods dairy-free)
red onion, thinly sliced
avocado, thinly sliced
cherry tomatoes
feta
extra virgin olive oil
oregano
sea salt
Instructions
Burgers
Combine burger ingredients together, minus avocado oil, and mix until combined. Form into 4-5 patties.
Add avocado oil to medium skillet on medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip, then cook for another 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp of water to the pan, reduce heat to low, and cover to finish cooking.
Heat a medium skillet on medium-high heat and add avocado oil. Once hot, add potatoes, flipping throughout until soft and golden brown. Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and add seasonings. Toss to coat.
Build your bowl by layering the burger and fries with toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
