I’m so excited about today’s launch – the new and improved 7-Day Added Sugar Detox is now available! I originally launched this guide in 2018, and it continues to be my #1 seller out of all my ebooks. Since then, thousands of people have used it to better understand how added sugar impacts everything from energy and mental clarity to cravings, digestion, and overall confidence.
When I first created it, I was deep into my own wellness journey, testing out a lower-sugar diet — and I couldn’t believe how much better I felt when I started paying attention to my sugar intake. It’s not an exaggeration to say it changed my life and helped shape my career as a dietitian. And I can confidently say: it WORKS.
My goal has always been to make nutrition feel approachable and to help others feel their best — whether that’s in their workouts, careers, or everyday life — and this guide is exactly where that started. Click here to get the guide.

Why Go All In?
Could you just “cut back”? Yes, of course. But most people find that leads to bargaining (“just one bite,” “just on weekends,” etc.). The cravings stick around because the brain still gets that reward.
Going all in for just 7 days gives your body a true break—and that’s when you start to feel the shift. Your taste buds recalibrate. Cravings fade. Your body starts running on real, stable fuel instead of quick hits. And once you feel that difference, it’s a lot easier to make sugar the exception, not the default.
My Experience With The Added Sugar Detox
For me personally, getting through an entire 7 days without added sugar took about four full attempts before I finally made it all the way. It’s hard—I’m not going to lie! But every single time I tried (even if I only made it a few days), I learned something new. I found another recipe that helped curb my cravings. I figured out which snacks actually kept me full. I noticed what times of day I needed more protein, or when a craving was really just me needing to drink water or get outside for a walk.
And once I finally hit that full 7-day mark, something clicked. I felt amazing—my brain fog lifted (honestly, I didn’t even realize I had it until it was gone), I was sleeping better, my skin looked brighter, and I had noticeably more energy.
I was excited to get back to eating what I wanted, but the benefits felt so good that I wanted to do it again. The next time I did the detox a couple months later, I made it 10 days. Then 14. Eventually, I made it 30 full days without added sugar, and I can honestly say I felt better than I ever had before.
Why It’s Worth It
It’s not just about how you look—it’s how you feel. And it’s so liberating. To not need something sweet after every meal or every time you hit a slump is the best feeling. I’m so excited for you to experience that for yourself.
If you’re like me, it might take a few tries to make it through the full 7 days—but I promise, every attempt gets you closer. And it’s so worth it.
Get Ready For A Community Round!
My favorite way to do the Sugar Detox is as a community. Hard things always feel more doable with the support of like-minded people who are up to the same challenge. Read through the guide, get yourself prepared, and feel confident starting the challenge next Monday. This could not be coming at a better time for me personally, I’m ready for a little early-summer reset! Grab a friend or even coax your husband or family into it for a little boost of support.
