In case you missed it, I just launched the pregnancy fitness guide that I’ve been working on for more than a year. It’s the guide that I’m most proud of because it’s packed with education and meant to empower you during your pregnancy to stay active and eat well. Not only are there 400 pages of content, but the workouts will get you through your second and third trimesters, you receive tons of info on nutrition, and best of all, I teamed up with my personal pelvic floor therapist, Dr. Laura Jewett, to bring you all the information you need about your pelvic floor during and after pregnancy.

Pelvic Floor Health

As women especially, we hear a-lot about our pelvic floor but we don’t always get the full story. Your pelvic floor is a collection of muscles, nerves, tendons, blood vessels, ligaments, and connective tissues in the pelvis. Running from your pubic bone to your tailbone and between your ‘sits’ bones, these muscles control your bowel and bladder function and literally keep you stable during every movement your body makes (from exercise to daily life activities). The reason your pelvic floor becomes a main character during pregnancy is because it needs to adapt well throughout your entire pregnancy to best support you, which means taking good care of it through every stage. The good news is you can start taking care of your pelvic floor even before pregnancy!

I’ve included just two of the many pages from the guide that dive deep into pelvic floor health. Not only do we break down the pelvic floor, but there are tons of tips on how to tone and lengthen it depending on your needs.

GOOD // SWEAT Pregnancy Guide

One of my favorite inclusions of the guide are the videos I shot with Dr. Laura that break down the best breathing exercises and stretches you can do for your pelvic floor. She really is a wealth of knowledge and everything she shared with me (and in this guide) helped me prep for birth and feel so confident in my own body.

You can get access to these life-changing videos (plus SO MUCH educational content) in my GOOD // SWEAT Pregnancy Guide. Read more about the guide here.
