Recreation Sweat just launched The Gym Bundle and I couldn’t be more excited for all of us to start using this 3-piece set in the gym!
This year I decided it was time to change things up in my fitness routine: 2022 became the year of strength training. If you’re familiar with my Good // Sweat At-Home guides, you know that I’ve always incorporated aspects of strength training into my programs, as consistently lifting weights is one of the best things we can do for our health and our bodies. Diving into strength training was the inspiration for my upcoming Good // Sweat STRENGTH guide, in which I walk you through 8 weeks of progressive-overload training in a gym setting. This guide is insane and my body changed dramatically over the summer while I tested it from start to finish. It launches later this month on December 26th — Subscribe to my newsletter to be the first to know when it’s live.
I started lifting in the gym during basketball season growing up. Over the years I’ve done a lot of learning on my own and from other trainers I trust, and it’s incredible how good I feel when I’m lifting heavy. It’s common that we let our lives determine, or play a big role, when it comes to our day-to-day habits, including our fitness routine. During the pandemic it only made sense to start working out from home. But as things started opening back up and after Bridge and I moved into a house that we could start building an at-home gym in our garage, I began to crave more weight lifting. As a lot of us are starting to get back to fitness classes and going to the workout, sometimes getting back into a gym setting is just different; i.e. navigating the gym, the equipment, all the people (!!). But don’t worry, I cover all the things you need to know about gym etiquette and equipment in the guide 🙂 As I started lifting heavier, I realized that gym equipment is not comfy. I made note of all the things I wish I had as I worked my way through the guide and then got to work developing the perfect products with Recreation Sweat on the backend, and soon enough the Gym Bundle came to life!
This 3-piece bundle includes my go-to gym accessories you need to level-up your lifts. Recreation Sweat’s Gym Bundle includes a dense foam barbell pad to make squatting and hip thrusting way more comfortable, lightly-padded ankle straps for all cable exercises (say bye to gross gym cable straps) and a stretching band for warm-ups, activation and stretching routines. Bundling these items together will get you through the 8-weeks of Good // Sweat STRENGTH and beyond.
I can’t wait for you to get your hands on these new accessories and watch as this community gets stronger together. Excited to hear what you think about each item! 🙂
xx Your Trainer, Rach
