Apple Pie Oats

- 1/2 cup organic oats
- 1 cup water or unsweetened milk
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3-4 tbsp vanilla protein
Toppings
- 3/4 apple, diced
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Drizzled honey
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add your oats. Reduce heat to low and let cook for 10 min with ground flax, cinnamon and vanilla.Â
- Once oats have absorbed majority of the liquid, remove the pot from heat then stir in the protein powder 1 tbsp at a time.
- Meanwhile, sauté apples, coconut oil & cinnamon in a skillet for 10 min on medium heat, stirring consistently until tender.
- Serve oats with apples, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon!
