Now that Hayes is 9 months, I can confidently say that there are some baby items that are essential, and others that aren’t. As a first time mom, there’s just so much you don’t know until you’re in it. So, if you’re curious what my most used baby items are, then I’m rounding up the ones I honestly couldn’t live without.
1. Dagne Dover Diaper Bag
When it comes to having all the daily essentials ready to go, this diaper bag has been perfect! It fits everything we need including our changing mat. Plus, it’s unisex so Bridge or I can carry it.
2. Keekaroo Changing Table
If you haven’t experienced your first blowout yet, then just trust me, being able to wipe this changing table clean in 2 seconds is a life saver. We also use this Warmie stuffed animal for extra head comfort. It’s heatable and lavender scented 🙂
3. Doona Stroller
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Doona stroller is hands-down the most convenient stroller for basically everything. It transforms from car seat to stroller in seconds, so no separate car seat needed. We use it constantly for grocery shopping and outings, and it’s great for traveling and on planes as well.
4. Baby Brezza Bottle Warmer
We’ve used this bottle warmer so many times that it’s well worth the investment. It warms a bottle in seconds which is so convenient and essential for a hungry baby!
5. Hatch Sound Machine
We absolutely love the wave setting on this Sound Machine. We have it in Hayes’ nursery and we use it for every nap and nighttime. A total game changer if you have dogs or are worried about noises waking up your little one.
6. Baby Milestone Balloons
I use these baby milestone balloons every month for Hayes’ milestone photos. They always turn out so cute and they’re easy to use by just swapping out the number. I got mine from Etsy and they were only $16.
7. Oilo Nursery Recliner
This nursery recliner was a bit of a splurge but when I tell you it’s the most comfortable recliner I’ve ever sat in, I mean it! As a nursing mom, you spend SO much time rocking and feeding that this was well worth the investment for me.
8. Nanit Floor Stand Baby Camera
We love having this baby camera for the peace of mind. It has also helped us track his sleep and the clarity and monitoring features have been a huge help.
