The holidays are such a special time of year to unwind from the busy year, look ahead to a fresh start in January, and spend quality time with family and friends. If you’re finding yourself in a bit of a funk movement wise, you’re not alone! Lots of us are traveling, and just out of our routine in general. I always feel better when I take even a few minutes to move my body, so I’m rounding up some fun ways to stay active over the next few weeks.

  1. Play pickle-ball! It’s such a fun activity and your whole family will love it. You’ll be surprised by how good it feels to get moving and get competitive after lots of indulgent meals and sweet treats.
  2. Try a new fitness studio with a friend or sibling. I always love hot yoga and hot pilates this time of year, but trying something new like boxing, F45, or cycling is a fun way to stay active.
  3. If you really don’t want to leave the house… I’ve still got you. I have so many high-energy, on-demand workouts on my youtube.

If you’re looking for a workout plan, check out my programs on Shop Good Eats and Recreation Sweat for all your workout needs.
