Pink Lemonade Summer Slushies
Ingredients
- 1.5 lemons
- 10 large strawberries
- 2-3 cups ice
- 8 oz water
- 2 packets Nuun Pink Lemonade Sport Hydration Powder
- 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup, to sweeten, (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the lemons and strawberries. Slice the lemons into wedges and remove the stems from the strawberries. Use the entire lemon in the blender, yes, the entire lemon and rind!
- Using a high-powered blender, add the lemons, strawberries, ice, water, and Nuun electrolytes, if using.
- Serve with strawberry and lemon slices. Enjoy!
To clarify, you’re throwing in the whole lemon? With the seeds and skin and everything? Or do you mean to juice the 1.5 lemons and add that?
Yes, the whole lemon 🙂 Seems weird, but it works! You can always sweeten a bit with honey or maple syrup if it comes out too tart. xx Rachael
