Okay, so we all know I wasn’t going to skimp on the snacks when it came to what’s in my hospital bag for bringing baby into this world. I want to be able to feel good about having fueling and high-quality snacks on hand leading up to labor and post-birth, especially if hospital food was going to be the only option.

Yes, it’s probably more than both Bridger and I need, but I love having options and who knows, if we’re in the hospital longer than we anticipated, it would be nice not to run out of our favorites.

Happy to share the full list below 🙂 Let me know in the comments if this was helpful and if you have any other suggestions for soon-to-be mamas to pack in their snack bag.

BARS

– RXBARS: I love the Mixed Berry & Peanut Butter
– That’s it: Apple + Mango
– Larabars: Apple Pie
– Mezcla puff-rice crispy bar

PROTEINS

Chomps beef sticks
– Country Archer Provisions grass-fed beef jerky
– Grass-fed beef bone broth: I’ve heard most hospitals have this as an option, but it’s in powdered form and I’m sure it’s not grass-fed. If you can bring your own, I’d definitely recommend. I got mine from Thrive Market, but I also like Kettle & Fire and Bonafide Provisions.

NUTS & SEEDS

– Eden organic dry-roasted pumpkin seeds
– Pistachios

RANDOM

– organic cinnamon applesauce, no added sugar
– Navitas Organics Power Snacks in Cacao Goji: best little bite-sized energy bites with dates
– packs of pitted green olives (great high healthy fat snack): I got them on Thrive Market
– dark chocolate bar: I love Evolved Chocolate
Electrolytes
– Kosterina extra virgin olive oil
– Mother’s Milk tea
