If you follow my stories on Instagram, you probably already know that my go-to meal when I’m in a time pinch (aka, hangry) is grass-fed organic ground beef with Siete Foods taco seasoning. It’s my favorite way to get extra protein in any time of day and it never gets old.

I’m super particular about eating organic and grass-fed animal protein for a few reasons:

  1. You can actually taste the difference, no doubt. I especially notice that high-quality chicken breast and high-quality ground beef tastes so much better and is just naturally more palatable than conventional, non grass-fed meat.
  2. Grass-fed & organic meat is more nutrient dense. Grass-fed beef has up to 6x more omega-3 fatty acids than grain fed beef, which can help prevent and treat disease. High-quality animal protein is also more rich in antioxidants and other vitamins and minerals.
  3. High-quality meat comes from animals that are actually healthier. It’s better for us, for the animal, and the environment to eat organic. Organic certification prohibits use of hormones, GMOs, and thousands of chemicals that conventional farming uses.
