My healthier spin on Dairy Queen's Peanut Butter Parfait. You need this for your frozen summer treat!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 cups yogurt, a thicker consistency like Greek yogurt will work better, I love Culina dairy-free
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2-3 tbsp chocolate chips, melted

Optional toppings

  • dry roasted peanuts
  • crushed pretzels
  • sea salt

Instructions

  • Mix yogurt and protein powder in a medium bowl until well combined.
  • Spread the peanut butter evenly across the top.
  • Spread the chocolate chips over the peanut butter and add toppings of your choice.
  • Freeze for 15-20 minutes and then break the shell with your spoon and enjoy!

Really yummy but you should always add a touch of coconut oil when melting chocolate to have it turn out velvety smooth, Same for candy like your peanut butter cups😉
Also, these only work for enjoying after the initial 15-20 minute sit time and will not work overnight- just to share with blog-goers…not the same as ice cream treats in that regard. Truly delicious and thinking of making different ‘shells’ using various types of chocolate, switching up the yogurt flavors, and trying sprinkles to make this a base recipe for tasty freeze treats!!🍦😋

  2. This high-protein froyo and chocolate shell topping recipe looks delicious! I’m always looking for healthier dessert options, and this seems like a perfect treat to satisfy my sweet tooth. I love that it incorporates Greek yogurt, a great protein source. Can’t wait to try it out!
