I’m always a little sad to see summer go, but I do get a thrill when I make that first cozy fall dinner in my slow cooker (and my recent obsession, my Instant Pot). There’s just something about fall recipes that is sooo satisfying as the weather starts to cool down.

It’s time to get cozy in the kitchen with these insanely delicious Fall Dinner Recipes. These are the dinners I want when I’m craving something warm, comforting, and high-protein. They’re easy enough for a busy weeknight and full of those cozy fall flavors I start craving this time of year. I’ll be rotating through these for the rest of the -ber months.

Steakhouse-style tri-tip steak dinner with mashed potatoes and sautéed garlic mushrooms, plated for serving

Tri-Tip Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Garlicky Mushrooms

Open-faced, high-protein chicken pesto parmesan meatball subs with marinara sauce and melted cheese

High-Protein Chicken Pesto Parmesan Meatball Subs

The bright and herby pesto, juicy ground chicken, and creamy parmesan come together for a balanced, better-for-you meal that feels indulgent but is actually nutrient-dense. Sweetened with honey, slightly spicy from sriracha, and seasoned with garlic, ginger, and scallions, these incredible meatballs are sticky, savory, and perfect over rice, with roasted veggies (like my Crispy, Buttery Broccolini), or on their own as a fan favorite game-day appetizer.

High-Protein Smoky Andouille Sausage Pasta

Packed with protein from crispy andouille sausage and bone broth, plus fiber-rich broccolini for freshness and crunch, this skillet pasta checks all the boxes for a satisfying, nutritious weeknight dinner. And the best part? It comes together in under 45 minutes, making it ideal for busy evenings when you want a healthy, home-cooked meal.
