Salted Caramel Apple Bark
Even more delicious than the original, this deconstructed caramel apple is scary good 👻
- 1 1/4 cup dark chocolate
- 1/2 cup caramel *notes below
- 1-2 granny smith apples, chopped
- 1 cup pretzels, chopped
- flakey sea salt
Melt chocolate over the stove on low heat in a small saucepan.
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and once melted, pour the chocolate over in an even layer and set it in the freezer to harden (about 20 minutes).
Once the chocolate has hardened, spread an even layer of caramel and top with apples, pretzels and sea salt.
Add the bark to the freezer for another 15-20 minutes to set, then chop or break into pieces and enjoy!

Will the apples brown?
Rachael Devaux says
Yes! I would only add the toppings when you are ready to serve as the apples may brown and the pretzels will soften in the fridge after several hours. Hope that helps 🙂 -Rachael
