Healthy Apple Crumble
Ingredients
Filling
- 9 apples
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 lemon, squeezed
Crumble
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp almond flour
- 3 tbsp GF rolled oats
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granola
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degree F
- Slice all apples and remove the cores
- Add apples to large mixing bowl and toss with coconut sugar, cornstarch (thickener), cinnamon, ginger and lemon juice
- Pour into 9 x 12-in baking dish
- Add ingredients listed for crumble into same mixing bowl and mix until thoroughly combined
- Layer evenly over top of filling
- Bake in oven for 50 minutes, or until starting to bubble
