Ready for the best healthier versions of your favorite treats?

You all know I pride myself on recreating childhood favorites that no longer meet our health standards. Some of my most viral and most loved recipes are the sweet treats that I’ve recreated with healthier ingredients. From candy bars to Girl Scout cookies to other childhood staples (cough cough, boxed brownies), it’s my personal mission to get the treats we know and love back on the menu in our adult lives. Enjoy my 5 favorite treat recreations!

Healthier Nutter Butters

The Nutter Butters in the vending machine use to hate to see me coming! These classic peanut butter cookie sandwiches are some of my all-time favorites, so I just had to recreate them. Made from scratch using only 5 real ingredients (and under 30 minutes to make!), they’re a gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free treat you’ll want to keep on-hand at all times.

Guilt-Free Fudge Brownies

The amount of extra-fudgey boxed brownies I’ve consumed in my life is insane. Making boxed brownies was a go-to activity in my childhood, and it wasn’t a habit I was willing to part with in my adult life so I took it upon myself to make a much healthier version. You’d think I’m kidding when I say they’re gluten-free, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free… but I’m not. Grab these ingredients and get into the kitchen asap.

Homemade Tagalongs

One of my all-time favorite Girl Scout cookies – anyone else? The crunchy cookie with the creamy peanut butter filling all coated in chocolate… I mean, it just doesn’t get better than that. Made with one of my favorite brands, Siete Foods, Mexican Shortbread cookies – which are sprinkled with coconut sugar and make the best addition to this recipe – this is a treat you’ll quickly find yourself wanting to make on repeat.

5-Ingredient Snickers

This is the kind of treat that feels too good to be true. Made with only 5 simple ingredients, but just as delicious as the real thing. It’s super easy, takes no time, and is a great alternative for any refined sugar, packaged candy in your pantry. I love to keep a stash in our fridge (or freezer) for the perfect healthier version of you favorite treat any time of day.

Twix Bars

Over the years of recipe testing & creating, my classic Healthy Paleo Twix Bars have consistently remained one of my most popular – truly an OG RGE recipe. The way the smooth caramel, crunchy shortbread and velvety chocolate layers come together with a sprinkling of sea salt on top… I mean, you just can’t beat it! You can make the classics, or these extra-cute bite-size Twix cups.
